HOLEY Plains at Rosedale is an historic homestead on a hunt.

The Crooke family will be opening the 19th-century homestead to the public for the Gippsland Garden and Heritage Festival in November.

They need exhibitors and are on a mission to find the best local arts, craft, wine and gourmet-food producers to set up stalls.

Constructed in 1889, the grand building watches over the property's extensive gardens, which are rich in rare and unusual plants.

The festival, on November 8-9, will include entertainment, vintage machinery and historical re-enactments.
