BENDIGO is set to impress at Australia's largest exhibition of great food and hospitality Melbourne's Fine Food Expo.
Bendigo Business development officer Lilly Miszewsky says she is really looking forward to the opportunity to help promote Bendigo produce.
"This is the third time we have organised a site and we have had incredible feedback,'' Lilly says.
"People often comment they wish their town would do something similar.''
Among the producers chosen to showcase their produce range is Hazeldene Poultry, Bendigo Gourmet Poultry and Game, Tt's Treats and Concept Cuisine.
"We have a range of excellent food manufacturers in the Bendigo area,'' Lilly said.
"This is our chance to give Melbourne a taste of Bendigo.''
From September 22 to 25 twenty four of Bendigo's finest food manufacturer's will offer food tastings, information brochures and displays of locally produced products.
Bendigo Chef Renzo Panozzo will be on site, using Bendigo's home-grown goods to whip up tasty treats and lure visiting food enthusiasts.
Local company Victorian Olive Groves are also entered in the Best New Product Award for their new Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused with smoked hickory.
