PRIMEAG Australia Ltd has paid $828,000 for a 371 hectare cropping and grazing property in the Warialda district of northern NSW.
Company Executive Chairman, Peter Corish, said the property - called Grange - "has excellent stock water and cattle yarding facilities".
"Its operation will be integrated with the company’s adjacent ‘Kurrajong Hills’ 2,128 ha mixed farming and grazing holding, which forms part of PrimeAg’s Moree hub," Mr Corish said.
The property's purchase brings PrimaAg's Moree hub to 9204 ha, including 1713ha of irrigable land.
PrimeAg also announced the acquisition of the 500 megalitre Wilson water entitlement for $1 million.
The entitlement, from the Fitzroy Resource Operations Plan, will be used to support cropping operations in PrimeAg's Emerald hub.
