DESPITE starting favourites, the Seymour Lions were denied the chance to become just the second Goulburn Valley Football League team to win four consecutive premierships.
Instead the Rochester Tigers had a thrilling three-point victory, beating Seymour 15-9-99 to 13-18-96 at Deakin Reserve, Shepparton.
