A MAN has died after crashing his crop duster in southern Queensland.
Emergency crews were called to the Pilton Highway at Upper Pilton, south of Toowoomba, about 2.35pm (AEST), an Emergency Management Queensland spokeswoman said.
The crop duster was still on fire, and had caused a grass fire, which crews were battling to control, she said.
It is believed the man was alone in the aircraft, and that he was spraying the crop for mice.
