THE shelf life a pain reliever used for mulesing has been extended.
Bayer Senior Brand Manager Dave Ross said the extension of the shelf life of Tri-Solfen from 12 months to 15 months by the Australian Pesticides Veterinary Medicine Association meant wool growers could use the product over two mulesing seasons.
Bayer manufactures Tri-Solfen, which is a topical anaesthetic and antiseptic solution for pain relief at mulesing.
