FALLING global grain prices has prompted SQP to reduce its estimates of its new season pool returns.
The Australian Premium White wheat pool is now estimated to return $300/tonne delivered to port.
SQP offers payment increments for wheat based on protein, moisture and screenings levels.
Malt barley has been reduced to $310-$330/tonne and feed barley to $220-$240/tonne.
SQP said canola prices had softened, forcing prices lower at $600-$620/tonne, delivered port.
SQP said its 2007-08 wheat pools remained unchanged at $395/tonne for the APW grade and $400/tonne for the Australian Hard grade.
