THE South Australian Government has called for public feedback on its extension to daylight saving this year.
After adding a week in April, the government also started summer time earlier this month, three weeks ahead of schedule. The change was to keep South Australia in step with NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and the ACT.
Industrial Relations Minister Paul Caica said the government now wanted to gauge reaction to the extension.
"We're inviting South Australians to give us their assessment of the extra four weeks of daylight saving," Mr Caica said.
"We intend to evaluate their feedback before deciding whether to adopt the extension on a permanent basis."
