THE Sale Agricultural Show was held at the weekend with great jumping in the main arena.
The courses, designed by Leeson Sirett of Colbinabbin, encouraged horses to jump well and fast against the clock.
Teaghan Chester, of Sale, won the first junior class in fine style, riding Sponge Bob.
That Teaghan is a budding jumping star is no surprise. Her father, Gavin, represented Australia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and has won the Australian World Cup League three times.
It was a great day for the Lamb family from Denison with Alley winning the show Grand Prix, riding Penrose, and her husband, Andrew, the 1.30m class, on DP Silky.
Zoe Bolton of Sale won the C and D grade class, riding Strike, while Hayley Clossey won both of the D grade classes, riding Bellbird and Tori Liarakos of Pakenham won the junior championship, riding Artic Warrior.
Nicole Guillot of Lakes Entrance won the ridden Thoroughbred class with Regal Outline, Dale Plumb of Cardinia champion hack with DP Mayfair and Shelley Penny of Traralgon the champion hunter, riding Havana.
