IT'S NOT every day you see a barbed-wire ball, nearly four-metres high.

A giant ball, made from 9km of old fence wire, pictured above, can be found at Julie Bennett's farm at Stoneleigh, near Skipton, Victoria.

Julie, an artist, has taken more than 1000 photos during the past year of the ball she made, for an exhibition next week at the Ballarat Art Gallery.
