A TEAM of pilots and support crew took off five days ago on a virtual mission to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
The volunteer pilots are 'flying' a Boeing 747-400 flight simulator around the world, intending to cover 40,000 nautical miles and visit 45 cities.
A live feed has been set up at http://worldflightoz737.org so that supporters can follow the crews' progress 24 hours a day.
Organisers said they could also book a seat on a leg of the virtual flight and help support the Flying Doctors by visiting www.worldflight.com.au
