WHAT'S a mouse got to do with worms and lice?
According to Australian Wool Innovation, more than 2200 Australian sheep producers each month use their computer mouse to visit two websites for help to combat internal parasites and lice, which each year cost the industry nearly half a billion dollars in lost revenue.
The two websites - www.wormboss.com.au and www.liceboss.com.au - represent the national knowledge on sheep parasites and their management.
WormBoss and LiceBoss have been assembled by the Sheep Cooperative Research Centre, with funding from AWI.
Leading parasitologists, researchers, extension officers, consultants, drench manufacturers and drench resellers have been involved in providing information to the sites.
