NEW South Wales and Northern Victoria are expected to sizzle next week, with temperatures climbing to the low 40s.
Ivanhoe in Western New South Wales will take the prize for the top temperature with the mercury forecast to climb to 43C on Wednesday.Wagga Wagga, Narrandera and Hillston are all expecting 41C on Wednesday.
Broken Hill is expected to reach 41C on Tuesday along with Charlton, Mildura, Ouyen and Swan Hill in Victoria.
On the border, Albury is expecting slightly cooler weather with 37C on Tuesday and 38C on Wedneday.
Jerilderie, Wagga Wagga and Narrandera in NSW are all expecting 38C on Tuesday.
