Postal services
Australia Post will hold the mail for all addresses in fire affected areas and are asking that people who have lost their home to visit their closest post office to fill in a redirection form for their mail or contact 13 13 18.

From today, adults who've been injured and hospitalised, as well as those who've lost homes, can receive $1000, with an extra $400 per child. Funeral assistance of up to $5000 is on offer for immediate family of those who have died in the fires.

Financial Ombudsman Service has established a hotline for all bushfire and flood victims seeking help and information or other financial issues experienced as a result of the disasters - 1800 337 444.

To discuss the relief measures available, customers should contact 136 NAB (136 622) from 8am (AEST) Monday 9 February, or visit their local branch.

Tax-deductible donations to the Victoria Bushfire Relief Fund can be made from Monday 9 February at all NAB branches, or via the internet using the following details:
