A WAGGA WAGGA company recently strengthened its hand with the addition of several international dealers for its unique attachment for loaders, skid steers and excavators.

Flip Screen Australia, the manufacturer behind an award-winning range of screening and recycling attachments, has signed up dealers in the US and South Africa.

It has shown there is a need for screening of construction, building waste and recycling of materials in all parts of the globe.

The unit uses a smooth, 360-degree rotating action to sieve finer materials out through a mesh screening chamber while larger particles are trapped by the inward spiralling action.

When counter-rotated, the larger particles are released.

JP Enterprises, from Minneapolis in the US, has recently signed on to sell Flip Screens in three US states, with the first container-load of buckets due by Christmas.

Another container-load has recently been shipped to a new dealer in South Africa, which has a clear need for screening in mining, quarrying and scrap metal.

The Flip Screen also has a presence in Tahiti, with a local equipment dealer purchasing an S30 Skid Steer Flip Screen to sell to the recycling industry.

Flip Screen continues to add to its product range, which already includes units for five to 35-tonne excavators, eight to 35-tonne loaders and two to eight-tonne skid steers.

With the 20-tonne excavator model screening about 90 cubic metres an hour, the Flip Screen is generating economical results all across the world.

The Flip Screen was designed by Sam Turnbull, of Sydney.

Sam identified the need for a portable, highly productive screening solution while running his own excavation business.

After moving from Sydney to an 800ha farm in regional NSW, Sam struggled to find an effective way to remove contaminants from fertiliser.

After 16 years, Sam finally came up with the 360-degree rotating and internal baffle system.

He proved the concept was a winner when he was able to use the first skid steer prototype to convert downgraded fertiliser into high-analysis fertiliser and lime by removing the excessive oversized lumps.
