A CHEMICAL spill at Warrnambool Cheese and Butter's Allansford factory in Victoria forced a staff evacuation and police road closures on Monday.
About 10,000 litres of hydrochloric acid leaked from a storage silo at the factory, but the spill was contained within a protective concrete barrier.
No one was injured during the incident, which was tended to and cleaned up by 45 local CFA personnel.
