BULL sales have struggled to achieve clearances of more than 66 per cent in the past week as drought and economic conditions bite into beef producers' confidence.
In the past 10 days, 513 bulls have sold from 776 offered in southern Australia.
During the same week last year, bull sales were averaging clearances of 80 per cent.
