AUSTRALIAN breweries snared 10 of the 15 trophies at the world's second largest competition of its kind - the Australian International Beer Awards - last week.
For the third year in a row, a West Australian brewery stole the show, with the Feral Brewing Company winning five trophies, including the Champion Exhibitor and Champion Small Brewery.
Held by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria and the University of Ballarat, the awards received 1140 entries from 39 countries.
Overall, Western Australia took out six trophies, Victoria two and NSW and Queensland one each. Trophies were also awarded to Honduras, Canada, Germany and the US.
