LANDHOLDERS in northwest Victoria will share in $1 million to protect native vegetation on their properties in the Victorian Government's BushTender scheme.
Environment Minister Gavin Jennings said agreements were being finalised with 19 landholders in the Mallee and northern Wimmera regions, who will receive their BushTender payments as extra income over five years.
Under BushTender, landholders nominate what they will do to protect and improve native vegetation.
