BERRIGAN Football Club will relive past glories at a special event tomorrow.
"A trip down Berrigan Lane" will be hosted by Matt Dowling, from ABC Radio in Shepparton, and speakers will include 1957 Brownlow medallist Brian Gleeson, along with Gerald Eastmure, Len Sexton, Ross Tremellen and Tim Powell.
Gleeson was recruited from Berrigan by St Kilda, but his VFL career ended after just 71 games when he injured his knee in a practice match in 1958.
Berrigan played in the Murray league until 2003, when it joined the Picola and District league.
After periods of success in the 1930s and '60s, the Saints haven't tasted premiership success since 1980.
