NATIONAL dressage selectors have chosen two horses to represent Australia at the World Dressage Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, next month.
The two horses, now campaigning in Germany, to represent Australia in the five-year-old category.
The pair, not seen in Australia before, are Kristy Oatley's stallion Swagman 2 and Robert Schmerglatt on the mare, Fonteyne owned by Linda and Beau Dowsett.
The winner of the Australian Dressage with the Stars young horse event, Bianca Barnes' dapple grey gelding Belcam Cadel, will not make the journey.
Werth expecting
CHAMPION German dressage rider Isabell Werth, who was penalised for drug use after her 10-year old chestnut gelding Whisper tested positive to Fluphenazin, is expecting her first child in November.
Her partner, Wolfgang Urban, 63, is a former manager of the Karstadt company.
