DIECI Australia will be a first-time exhibitor at this week's Elmore field days.

Dieci makes a range of telehandlers and the Italian-made equipment is well suited to hay and fodder handling, according to Dieci Australia's Simon Fitzpatrick.

"Dieci has two machines that are well suited to the hay and poultry industries," Simon said.

The Dieci Haymaster has a four-tonne lift capacity and a 7m reach.

Simon said a feature of the machine was its rear-mounted radiator, which had a reversing fan.

"The hydraulic drive fan means the radiator is easily cleaned out, which makes it ideal for use in hay work," he said.

The Haymaster gets its power from a 95kW Iveco diesel motor that is turbocharged. The transmission is a four-speed powershift arrangement and the top speed is 40km/h.

There are three steering or drive options - crab steer, four-wheel steer and two-wheel steer.

Simon said the Dieci was also in constant four-wheel-drive.
