RURAL properties in central NSW are under threat from a new bushfire that's believed to have been started by fallen powerlines.
As temperatures head into the 40s, winds strengthen and humidity falls across the state .. an emergency warning's been issued to residents of Tara Stock Road at Gunnedah.
A Rural Fire Service spokesman says no one has been hurt and aircraft have been deployed to help fight the fire.
Crews are battling more than 80 bushfires scorching 10,000 hectares of land across the state today.
