HOLDENS of all colours and kinds will be on show in Victoria's North East this weekend.

The Wangaratta Early Holden Car Club will hold its eighth annual "Show Us Your Holden" day this coming Sunday at Apex Park in Wangaratta.

Owners of any model Holdens, from classic FJs to wild street Commodores, are encouraged to come along.

Vehicles will be on display from 9.30am, there is no judging and there are no trophies, so even the "chook shed specials" are welcome.

"We encourage the public to come along and reminisce," said club publicity officer Anthony Cutrona.

"We are expecting up to 100 cars, from as far afield as Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Hay in NSW.

"Bring along your pride and joy, whatever the condition - we don't care - and join the display."

The Wangaratta Early Holden Car Club caters for enthusiasts of Holden models made from 1948-78.

"We have more than 50 members now coming from around the local area, including Wodonga, Corowa, Benalla, Shepparton and Mansfield," Anthony said.

The club's activities include observation runs, barbecues, static displays and weekend trips away.
