I'M 12 years old and live on a dairy farm at Dingee.
In mid-July I broke my hip due to a weakness in the growth plate.
I had to have surgery to put two screws in my hip joint and ever since I have been on crutches, which is a total of about 15 weeks and I recently found out I'm on them for another month.
Mum, Dad, my brother and sister have helped me out so much.
Every day Mum drives me to school and back, which is a real strain because she has to work on the farm with Dad.
Mum and Dad also take me to physiotherapy every Thursday afternoon and my brother and sister are always there helping me out so much.
