PIG farmers in Britain are ropeable after learning that the quintessential British Lincolnshire pork sausages can be made from German pigs, according to the British Farmers Weekly.
The famous British sausage can still be labelled as such, as the name refers to the style of sausage rather than the origin of ingredients.
Blimey, next thing you know they'll be telling us that oh-so British motoring icon the Mini is owned by the Germans as well.
Oh, hang on, that's right, it is.
