LARK-RISE, at Portarlington, was passed in at auction for $900,000 on Saturday, but sold soon after for a "much higher undisclosed figure", according to agent Ken Drysdale.
The 4.04ha lifestyle property had an asking price of $900,000 plus. Ken said it was an "excellent result", with the auction attracting about 50 people.
Erimbali sold
GRAZING property Erimbali also got new owners on the weekend.
The 461ha Glenburn property was initially passed in on a vendor bid of $4.2 million, but was quickly snapped up following the auction for a higher undisclosed figure.
Erimbali was the home of Liberal Party stalwart, the late Sidney "Jim" Plowman.
The property had an asking price of $4.5 million plus.
