FORMER Australian cricketer Dean Jones will be among the celebrities taking part in the Great Vic Trek for Yooralla, which starts on Sunday.

Participants will start the trek at Melbourne's City Square and travel 1800km through 200 Victorian towns over 21 days to raise $500,000 for Yooralla, which each year supports more than 30,000 disabled Victorians.

Participants will finish with a victory lap at the MCG on day two of the Boxing Day Test Match on December 27.
