COBRAM'S Tim McCurdy won National Party preselection for the seat of Murray Valley at the weekend.
Mr McCurdy, 46, is a real estate agent and the Moira Shire Council deputy mayor.
The former dairy farmer won the preselection ahead of eight other hopefuls, including former Olympian, Dean Woods.
Mr McCurdy will work closely with Ken Jasper who currently holds the state seat and retires next November.
