The Australian dairy industry now has its own social media website, called Udderly Fantastic.

The website is a joint project between the Australian Dairy Industry Council and Dairy Australia, designed to encourage farmers to celebrate what they love about dairying.

ADIC chairman Wes Judd said farming families could upload photos and short video clips to the website to show their side of the dairy story.

"I urge all people throughout our industry to join the website and showcase the many great things going on in the dairy industry," Mr Judd said.

The three best photos or videos put on the website before January 18 will win a digital camcorder.
