THEIR names are synonymous with excellence in their respective disciplines and now the US Equestrian Federation has honoured them for their commitment to equestrian sport.

George Morris, one of the most accomplished coaches in the world, has coached back-to-back Olympic gold medal teams and consistently guides the US show jumping program to victory across the globe.

Morris has been named the USEF National Coach of the Year.

Australian Phillip Dutton, now riding for the US, is one of the best-known eventing riders on the circuit and a tour de force on the field of play.

His commitment to the sport is evident by the time he spends coaching, teaching and training.

Dutton has been named the USEF Developmental Coach of the Year.
