BIRCHIP Cropping Group's "Thinker in Residence" Lauren Rickards has been awarded the inaugural Amabel Fulton Memorial Award for excellence in extension.
Dr Rickards developed BCG's Critical Breaking Point social research and helped the group to understand and address emerging issues.
The award was presented at the Australasia Pacific Extension Network Conference in Busselton, Western Australia, last month.
Productivity Commission hearings
PUBLIC hearings for the Productivity Commission's inquiry on wheat export marketing arrangements will be held in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide in the next fortnight.
Forums will also be held in Geraldton, Cunderdin, Dalby, Dubbo and Port Lincoln.
