The property, for sale by vendor Ausmilk, has been described by Elders agent Nick Adamson as one of Victoria's most innovative dairy farms.

On-farm features include a 50-unit rotary dairy, state-of-the-art automated calf-rearing complex with 100-head capacity, undercover calving shed, extensive machinery shedding and a massive free-stall barn with the capacity to house 100 cattle.

"It really can be operated as a conventional farm with the barn used as a feedpad and therefore operated by a family farmer," Ausmilk property co-owner Greg Walsh said.

"It could certainly also interest investors looking to farm intensively."

The property, which sits in a rainfall belt delivering 1000mm a year, uses more than 80 megalitres of treated Timboon water to irrigate summer pastures.

A brand new four-bedroom, two-storey sandstone home has been built on the main block.
