MCGUIGAN Wines has been named Winemaker of the Year at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition in London.
McGuigan also won the Australian Producer of the Year trophy and chief winemaker Neil McGuigan collected the Jancis Robinson Trophy for riesling, for McGuigan Earth's Portrait Riesling 2004.
"Winning an international trophy is unbelievable because you're not just going up against your Australian peers," he said.
