WHO would have guessed worm farms were a political hot potato?

Our suggestion last week that Opposition Leader Ted Baillieu was about to announce a policy on worm farms got David Davidson all excited.

David is the president of the Australian Wormgrowers Association, which has a bone to pick with the Victorian Government over the lack of a $30 water saving rebate for people who buy worm farms.

Because worm farms make compost and composted gardens save water, it should be eligible for the $30 rebate offered for other water-saving devices, David reckons.

Sorry David, Back Paddock's comment was in jest. But now we know there is an issue, we call on Ted to promise a rebate for worm farms if elected. Cash for compost we say.
