PEUGEOT has given its 207 a facelift and a boost in equipment.

Two new touring (wagon) versions in petrol and diesel have been added to the existing XR, XT and GTi hatches, and the CC convertible.

Six airbags are now standard on the entry XR, the XT gets a glass roof, climate control and rear privacy glass, and cruise control is standard on all 1.6-litre models.

Styling changes include a new lower front panel, air intake, fog lights, LED tail lights and alloy wheels.

Inside, the instrument panel has been revised for easier use.

Prices start at $22,490 for the XR 1.4-litre manual.
