TWO Geelong businesses have teamed together to make a sturdy, mobile fire fighting unit.
Ideal for use on farms or rural residential blocks, the Blazebeeta 1000 is manufactured by BA Group Australia and Westcoast Trailers.
As the name suggests, the fire fighting unit has a 1000-litre tank and comes complete with a variety of high quality components, according to BA Group Australia's Daniel Peacock.
"The Blazebeeta is a compact, well-built unit that can be registered for on-road use or simply taken around the farm," Daniel said.
"The trailer-mounted unit combines BA Group's expertise in pump and tank manufacture and Westcoast Trailers' know-how.
"Craig Davis at Westcoast Trailers is an expert on trailer manufacturing and he only builds things that last."
The Blazebeeta's 1000-litre tank is mounted on an all-steel, galvanised chassis with a single axle.
The trailer has a set of brakes and can be fitted with lights for road registration as an option.
The pump on the fire fighter is a petrol-driven Onga which comes with a two-year warranty and a 3.7-litre fuel tank.
Other features include a 30m hose reel, which allows plenty of flexibility and reach when required.
Extras hose reels and a fill kit, which can be used for pumping water from a dam or watercourse, are other optional extras.
The unit costs $6995 including GST. For more details phone BA Group on (03) 5278 9033.
