IT SEEMS the Kilmore area has its fair share of heroes at the moment.

Well done to Moira Kelly, her Children First organisation, as well as all those associated with the medical miracles involving the conjoined twins at the Royal Children's Hospital.

In addition to Moira and her team, there are also Kevin and Rhonda Butler and their many volunteers, from Blaze Aid, who were recently publicly recognised for their post-Black Saturday work, "Butlers did it", (WT, November 18).

Hard work and community spirit at its best.
