AHOY there me hearties, the MV Mary Ann is for sale.

The iconic catamaran has been serving the Echuca-Moama district as a tourist boat for more than 25 years, and the business now awaits its new captain.

The Mary Ann is anchored in the heart of Echuca's famous port precinct, and tourists from afar walk its decks.

The Taverna family have owned the popular cruise boat for the past 11 years, running lunch and dinner cruises as well as private and corporate functions.

"It's great to kick back and relax and have a meal and a few drinks while cruising the river and listening to some music," Pat Taverna said.

"It's very unique ... there's no catamaran like it on the Murray River."

Mr Taverna said it was an easy business to manage and it came complete with a "fantastic lifestyle".
