FIELD Days will be held next month to introduce the four remaining GippsDairy Focus Farms.

The first will be held on February 3, from 11am to 1.30pm, at Mick and Paula Hughes' farm, Willow Grove Rd, Willow Grove.

The Anderson family will follow on February 9, from noon to 1.30pm, at Grimmes Rd, Denison.

From 11am to 1.30pm the same day Rod and Lyndell Cope will hold their field day at Stewart-Dunlops Rd, Middle Tarwin.

A few days later, on February 11, from 11am to 1.30pm, Nar Nar Goon dairy farmers Michael and Ancret Shipton will host their field day at the end of Browning Rd, Nar Nar Goon.

Women in dairy forum

A NATIONAL women in dairy forum will be held in Melbourne on March 24.

Described as a day about developing dairy women leaders for the future as well as developing a road-map for a National Women in Dairy leadership plan, the forum will be held at the RACV Club in Melbourne.

It will include speakers from across Australia, as well as Dr Sally Shortall from Queens University in Ireland, who will speak bout the changes in farming practice and the role of women on farms.

A pre-forum dinner will also be held at the RACV Club on March 23.
