I AM sad Peter's Parish has ended.

I wish Bill Craven well for the future and need to tell him that his column has brought comfort and happiness to many women struggling with the drought.

Religion has gone out of fashion, but Peter's was real, sad, humorous and entertaining.

We will never know where the fiction started and ended with his stories, but throughout there was always the feeling of taking care of your neighbours or people in trouble.
