IT WAS a battle between the phone bidders for the top priced Jersey at last night's International Dairy Week Jersey Showcase Sale.
Creeping-up by $100 dollar bids, heifer Brunchilli RBR Pricilla was finally knocked-down to Warren Davis from Queensland for $9500.
The second highest price for the night was lot number 11 Brookbora Navara Estelle, which sold for $8500.
Overall 16 cattle sold for an average of $4012.50 grossing $64,200.
Eight embryo packages averaged $5787.50, while 11 semen packages made $8615.
Topping the Brown Swiss offering at $4000 was Shalom Sultan Ladder.
Six head averaged $2833, while two embryo packages averaged $4600.
The IDW Holstein Spectacular Sale starts at 7.30pm tonight.
