HERE'S how to make homemade peanut butter.

In a food processor or blender combine 1 cup roasted, unsalted, shelled peanuts, 2-3 tablespoons peanut or canola oil and half a teaspoon salt.

Make sure you add just enough oil to make the blended mixture smooth.

You can use salted peanuts and omit the salt, or omit the salt entirely with unsalted peanuts.

If you want chunky peanut butter, add chopped peanuts after you have made the smooth version.

Store in an air-tight container in the fridge. Use within two weeks.
