SOUTH Korean scientists have developed a walking robot maid that can clean a home, dump clothes in a washing machine and even heat food in a microwave.
Mahru-Z has a human-like body including a rotating head, arms, legs and six fingers plus three-dimensional vision to recognise chores that need to be tackled.
Perhaps the wool industry, which for years has been trying to work out a way to shear sheep without breaking human backs, can order a shipment of Mahru-Zs.
They'd only have to teach them how to roll a swag and drive a ute, and set them on their way.
