GIVEN that most of us have never, or will never, attend the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes or even the Logies, we wouldn't know what presenters and nominees receive in their gift bags.
But Back Paddock wonders what the recipients at this month's Golden Globe Awards would have thought when they searched through their goodies and found a DVD on the meat industry.
Long-time vegetarian Sir Paul McCartney made sure his new DVD, Glass Walls, was in the bags.
Sir Paul, pictured right, endorsed the film, prepared by PETA, and said: "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian".
"I hope that once you see the routine cruelty involved in raising, transporting and killing animals for food, you'll join the millions of people who have decided to leave meat off their plates - for good," he wrote.
Ah, a nice little bedtime DVD for the party-goers to watch before they hit the sheets that night.
