JOHN Deere's latest 3E series utility tractors feature Yanmar diesel engines and hydrostatic transmissions for smooth operation.
The 3032E and 3038E have 23.4kW and 27.6kW engines respectively and the two-range hydrostatic transmission is controlled with twin pedals which make moving the tractor back and forth easy.
Power steering is standard on the tractors and attaching and detaching implements is simple with John Deere's iMatch Quick-Hitch Auto Hitch system which is optional on both models.
The iMatch is a lever system which can be operated from the tractor seat so the driver does not have to get off the machine to change implements.
Total capacity of the hydraulics is 35 litres a minute which is split at 15 litres a minute for steering and 20 litres a minute for implement control.
The category one rear linkage lift capacity is 615kg for both models.
A differential lock and four-wheel-drive is standard on the utility tractors. When combined with a 305 loader, the tractors have a lifting capacity of more than half a tonne, which is ideal for jobs around the farm such as lifting tree stumps or moving dirt.
The braking system on the tractors is a wet disc set up. The operator platform is highlighted by a fully adjustable, contoured seat while the controls are within easy reach of the driver.
John Deere's 3000 series tractor range peaks at the 32.2kW 3720 model.
