AUSTRALIA'S most southern Santa Gertrudis sale will be held in the Riverina on March 10.
There will be 30 stud bulls on offer and 500 commercial Santa or Santa-cross cattle.
The 10th invitational sale will offer bulls from Victorian, NSW and South Australian studs including Rockingham, Woodstock, Nangaringa, Riverslea, Denngal, Kuloomba, Ingleholme, The Reefs, Restdown and Burnewang North.
The sale will be held at the Finley, NSW, saleyards from 10am for the commercial cattle and 1pm for the bulls.

Turkish exports
TURKISH buyers are returning to Australia to buy 3000 Angus heifers, 11 to 24 months, to establish breeding numbers.
After a successful shipment of 2800 heifers in 2008, the buyers are seeking joined or unjoined heifers.
Australian company Austock Exports Turkey, is looking for herd book register, Angus performance register and commercial heifers.

Champion ram
THE Merryville Merino stud of Boorowa, NSW, claimed grand champion ram, supreme exhibit and most successful exhibitor at this year's Great Southern Supreme Merino show and sale in Canberra.
Wurrook stud at Rokewood exhibited grand champion ewe. In the sale, 51 rams sold to $6000 and averaged $2339.
