IT WAS business as usual for the Leitchville/Gunbower netball and football players, despite news that Murray Goulburn had shut its Leitchville cheese plant.
Club president Steven Hore said locals were still looking forward to playing in the new Heathcote and District League.

"It's just happened, people need to get their heads around it," he said. "There's no direct ramifications yet."
Mr Hore said there were many juniors at the club whose parents worked at the factory and a number of players who were employed at the plant.
Leitchville/Gunbower Football Netball Club relies on the sponsorship business in both towns as well as Cohuna.
"If people move away from the region and less money is spent, this could put pressure on all local groups, not just football and netball," Mr Hore said.
