BMW will release its baby SUV, the X1, in April.

The X1 (pictured) is priced from $43,500 to $59,280.

There will be two rear-wheel drive models, a 1.8-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel and three all-wheel drive models, a 2.0-litre diesel, a 2.3-litre diesel and a 2.5-litre petrol.

Hanging Rock motoring show

THE 23rd annual classic motoring show at Hanging Rock will be held this Sunday, February 14.

The event attracts more than 2000 vehicles, from vintage to veteran and classic cars and bikes plus special interest vehicles.

Entry prices are $20 per vehicle, $5 for motorcycles and $5 a head for pedestrians. Display gates open from 7am.

Ford Territory a star performer

FORD has scored a five-star safety rating for all its Territory models that were built from the start of this year.

The upgrade follows the addition of a front passenger seat belt reminder.

Honda adds airbags
