BOYD Exell's recent carriage driving clinic at Woodend proved a real chance to learn from the master.

The two days were fully booked with drivers of varying levels and combinations and everyone benefited from Boyd's interesting and engaging teaching style.

Most drivers were instructed on the dressage arena.

Boyd helped them to focus on their technical problems, which gave the audience an excellent before and after visual result.

Some drivers chose to work on obstacle driving, and again all participants were shown how to drive an obstacle with consideration for the horse, as well as timing.
